Great ride today! We rode 26.2 miles together. The plan was to take our picture in front of the big flag again pm Angleberger Road, but they had two smaller flags out with a Maryland flag, so we went to Plan B. The weather was hot, but we didn’t hit any thunderstorms!

We had a good crowd starting out with 17 riders on a beautiful morning. Two roadside repair clinics within the first four miles fractured the group into a number of smaller groups.

The sky was overcast with the possibility of rain in the afternoon forecast as we left for the festival in Walkersville. At the bathroom break at Utica Park, we checked on the proposed location of the memorial bench for Paul before moving on.
