The 4 May ride from Utica ending up being 26.2, instead of 23.4, as originally planned. I failed to include the detour due to the bridge being out at Blacks Mill Road and Laymans Road. We did bike down to the bridge to see the progress (doesn’t look like much), then turned right on Layman and left on Hessong. Since it was a nice day, we were glad to include the few extra miles. Five of us rode: Kevin Burzio, Ray Gable, Kathy Dollar, Dave Teach and myself. It was a fun ride, with lots of animals seen, like lambs, donkeys, horses and cows and, of course, with all the rain, lots of high bubbling creeks. We crossed over Loys Station Bridge and Utica Bridge, which made it a two-covered bridge ride!
Thanks to all who came out!
