Ride Description: The Indian Head Rail Trail is a beautiful trail. I have ridden the western 5 miles of the Trail as part of the Oxon Hill Bicycle Club annual century ride. I am looking forward to riding the whole trail. We will start at the eastern trail head and ride to the western end in Indian Head (approx.. 13 miles). From there we will ride3 on the roads to Dale’s BBQ for lunch and after lunch we will continue on the roads to Bumpy Oak Road where we will again travel to the Trail and then back to our cars.
Steve Blagg has mapped the ride on “Ride with GPS” and has prepared a cue sheet and at TCX file for loading into your Garmin; https://ridewithgps.com/routes/25673764.
Send me an email (email@example.com) if you will be joining us. If anyone gets lost driving to the starting point give me or Glenn a call. I’ll be driving to Glenn’s house and then down to the starting point.
