Recurring Rides
Wednesdays 9:00 am B+ 35-50 Wheel Base
Wednesday AM Road Ride
This is a mid-week ride that starts at the Wheel Base bike shop in Frederick.

Wednesdays 6:15 pm C 15-30 Utica District Park
Utica Wednesdays
This is one of the club's most popular rides, attracting a diverse group of cyclists. We'll try some new
routes along with the old favorites on this easy mid-week spin where new riders are always
welcome. This is a social ride and no one will be left behind. If needed we will regroup
periodically or split into two groups when feasible. Usually no go in rain and ride leader
duties may alternate through the season so some weeks may be impromptu.
Sundays 8:00 am A/B 35-50 Wheel Base
The Sunday Morning Road Ride
The entire group stays together for about an hour then usually breaks
into two smaller groups, a faster ride and a slower ride. Ride goes
if it is not too windy and the roads are dry.

Non-Recurring Rides
Aug 2 (Sat) 8:30 am C 37 Glade Elementary School
37 Miler from the 2003 FredPed Century Route
Let’s ride through the countryside and enjoy the wonderful aroma of farmland in Frederick
County. This ride will take you through three historical covered bridges and all will have the
opportunity to view the wonderful scenery of northern Frederick County. Pack a snack or the
group will have the opportunity to stop for food in Thurmont or Woodsboro. No one will be left behind.

Monocacy Middle School
Semi-Regular Sunday Evening Summer Road Ride (SRSERR)
If you go to church on Sunday morning or just want to sleep in one day a week,
consider ending your weekend with a ride in the evening when the risk of sunburn
is reduced. The atmosphere will be casual and friendly, much like the Wednesday evening rides.

Glade Elementary School
Gettysburg Breakfast Ride
This ride will be a metric century up to Gettysburg for breakfast and
a spin through the battlefield. Rolling terrain, familiar roads through Thurmont
and Emmitsburg and on up to PA, then back through western Carroll county.

Monocacy Middle School
Birthday Ride
Since Catoctin Hollow Road has been recently chipped (fabulous idea, what an
improvement), let us instead meander around the outskirts of Frederick, up Gravel
Hill, through Walkersville, around Legore Bridge, dash to Thurmont and back
again. Because it's my birthday there will be a gratuitous snack stop thrown
in for good measure. I'm thoughtful like that.
